2008 Democrats of the Year

County Chair Ginnie Padden presented the award on August 30, 2008.
John and Susan Cramer, of Valley Township, were named the 2008 Guthrie County Democrats of the Year by the Central Committee.
Susan is a high school science teacher for Guthrie Center. She had been the Treasurer for the Guthrie County Democratic Central Committee and has helped with the Precinct Caucuses.
John is self-employed. He had been the County Chair and Vice-Chair in the past, and is currently the Treasurer. He organized the Precinct Caucuses county-wide and the County Convention on several occasions. He has helped with the Democratic Fair Booth for many years.
